The Supreme Court on July 13 sought responses from Wadia Group chairperson Nusli Wadia and textile company Bombay Dyeing on appeals filed by the SEBI against a Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) ruling that exonerated Wadia and others in a fraudulent scheme case. The dispute concerns 11 memoranda of understanding executed between Bombay Dyeing and SCAL Services Limited, both Wadia Group companies, for the bulk sale of flats in Mumbai.
