Today we recognize Elizabeth Tyler-Kabara, MD, a pediatric neurosurgeon with Banner Children’s and Banner – University Medicine Tucson dedicated to providing compassionate, family-centered care for children with complex neurological conditions. Dr. Tyler-Kabara believes in empowering patients and families through honest, compassionate care and open communication. She understands that pediatric neurosurgical conditions can be overwhelming for families, and she is committed to partnering with them throughout every step of the care journey. Her approach combines advanced surgical expertise with empathy and support, helping families feel informed, heard and confident in their child’s care plan. She specializes in the treatment of pediatric brain tumors, pediatric spinal disorders, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and movement disorders. Dr. Tyler-Kabara also has a special interest in fetal surgery and participates in the multidisciplinary care of patients undergoing in utero repair of spina bifida. Through individualized treatment plans and multidisciplinary collaboration, she works to improve outcomes and quality of life for children facing complex neurological challenges.
