Banner – University Medical Center Tucson recently wrapped up a successful 19th annual Camp Scrubs program with 24 middle school students and high school junior counselors from across southern Arizona who are interested in exploring careers in health care. The popular summer program gives students a behind-the-scenes look at health care careers through hands-on learning and real-world experiences. Throughout the week, campers shadowed health care professionals, participated in simulations and gained firsthand insight into how multidisciplinary health care teams work together to care for patients and save lives.
