Expanding innovation where it matters most – close to our customers. 🌏 With the opening of a new Technological Innovation Center in Chengdu, the next step is taken to further strengthen the global engineering network and bring innovation closer to regional markets. Located directly at the local manufacturing site, the center connects engineering expertise, production know-how and close customer interaction in one place. Across 400 m² of lab and office space, teams will focus on advancing key sensor technologies – from inductive sensors and linear transducers to connectivity solutions and industrial networking. But this expansion is about more than adding new space. It reflects a clear ambition: to better understand local customer challenges, to collaborate more closely on solutions, and to accelerate development cycles for tailored automation applications. “Being as close as possible to our customers’ needs – not only in sales and service, but also in technological expertise – is key to developing the right solutions together.” (Florian Hermle, Managing Director) As part of a global network of over 500 technology experts, the Chengdu Innovation Center further strengthens cross-regional collaboration and ensures that innovation happens where it creates real impact.
