Field Notes 🐑🌾 🧥 The School Farm has been a hive of activity as we head into the cooler months. Our ewes are expecting lambs, and in preparation, teams from across the School have been working together to create practical lamb jackets made from recycled old uniforms - a wonderful example of sustainability and collaboration in action. 🧣 Looking ahead to Winter 2026, we’re excited to be designing and producing a Ballarat Grammar Wool Supporter’s Scarf, made from 100% Corriedale wool grown by our own school sheep. From paddock to product, this project celebrates local industry, sustainability and the rich heritage of our agriculture program. 🏆 Years 7–12 students are also invited to submit Expressions of Interest for the Sheep Showing Team. The Show Team works with our award‑winning stud sheep, learning how to prepare and present livestock in the show ring, and proudly representing Ballarat Grammar as part of our agricultural showing tradition. 🥔 Stay tuned for an update on the 2026 Year 4 Potato Harvest and annual Mount Rowan Potato Games!
