On World Environment Day, we’re proud to share that our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Lorenzo Simonelli, received the Keystone Policy Center 2026 Leadership Award in recognition of his leadership, innovation and commitment to collaborative action. Accepted on his behalf by Jim Apostolides, Chief Infrastructure and Performance Officer, the award reflects our commitment to cross-sector partnerships that advance sustainability. We know partnerships help solve complex challenges and advance the public good, and that's why our collaboration with Keystone Policy Center has been so meaningful. Together, we supported a cross-sector working group developing Greenhouse Gas Protocol guidance on removed emissions- an important step toward more consistent, comprehensive emissions accounting. This work shows what’s possible when industry, policymakers, and other stakeholders align around practical solutions for a more sustainable future. Our latest sustainability results underscore that progress: since 2019, we have reduced absolute operational emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 36.9% and emissions intensity by 45.8%, while maintaining profitable growth and sourcing 41.1% of our electricity from zero-carbon sources in 2025. 🔗 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dce-Sq2M #WorldEnvironmentDay #Sustainability #CSR #ClimateAction #EmissionsAccounting #WeAreBakerHughes
