Last week, we hosted a Technology Day with bp at the bp Sunbury Learning Centre, in collaboration with Sunbury-Wells, bringing together technical experts from both organizations to explore how technology and collaboration can help advance energy operations. The event provided an opportunity to showcase current areas of collaboration, exchange insights, identify opportunities for enhanced performance, and discuss emerging technologies that may help address future global energy challenges. Through technical sessions, customer case studies, and live demonstrations, participants explored a range of solutions, including autonomous well construction, field development, production optimization, intelligent completions, and mature asset performance. The discussions highlighted the potential of digital technologies, automation, and domain expertise to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making across the energy value chain. A key outcome of the day was the opportunity to strengthen collaboration, share lessons learned, and discuss how technology and innovation can support safe, reliable, and increasingly efficient operations.
