Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, to our Florence site in Italy - our largest global center for advanced manufacturing, engineering, and innovation. During her visit, President Metsola toured our manufacturing facilities and saw firsthand how our teams are designing and building advanced turbomachinery and energy technologies that support critical infrastructure across Europe and beyond, from LNG to industrial power generation including solutions to embrace hydrogen and clean fuels, carbon capture, and geothermal heat and power.  The visit also provided an opportunity to engage in dialogue on the role of technology, industry, and policy in strengthening Europe’s energy system at a time when energy security, industrial competitiveness, and decarbonization must be addressed in parallel.
