Today, on his birthday, we honour a man whose extraordinary life mirrored India’s own. Shri Rahul Bajaj, Chairman Emeritus of the Bajaj Group (1938-2022).   Born on June 10, 1938, Shri Rahul Bajaj carried a legacy that began with his grandfather, Jamnalal Bajaj, a freedom fighter, social reformer and the fifth adopted son of Mahatma Gandhi. That inheritance of conscience, courage and commitment to nation-building never left him.   He took charge of Bajaj Auto in 1965 and built it into one of the world’s most valuable two-wheeler companies. The Bajaj Group grew into a conglomerate of 40 companies spanning automobiles, financial services and more. Yet, he measured success not just in balance sheets but in the lives changed and communities strengthened along the way.   A visionary who balanced business success with social commitment, he greatly expanded the scope and impact of the Bajaj Group’s philanthropic initiatives, staying firmly aligned with the founding values of nation-building and community development.   Fearless in conviction, forthright in voice and unwavering in integrity, he was a leading voice for corporate India.   His legacy lives on in the institutions he built, the entrepreneurs he inspired, and the millions of Indians whose lives his vision touched.   At our recent celebration of #100YearsOfBajaj, we paid him a live tribute, a moment of music, memory and gratitude in the presence of those who knew him best. A remarkable performance by Ricky Kej and his troupe, crafted as a tribute to a life well lived.   Today, on his birthday,  we share that moment with you.   Happy Birthday, Shri Rahul Bajaj 🙏
