AmiGo is on the move in Switzerland. Built together by Apollo Go and Swiss PostBus Ltd., the on-demand autonomous service has been granted a Level 4 special permit by Switzerland's Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), with open-road testing live since June 1 in Eastern Switzerland. Powered by fully electric Apollo Go RT6 vehicles, AmiGo is expected to be available to passengers next year, with rides bookable via the AmiGo app. The service is set to become the largest planned automated public transport operation of its kind in Europe.
