The first British-made artillery barrel forgings in almost two decades are being delivered to Ukraine. Under a £61 million UK Ministry of Defence contract, we are leading the delivery and technical integration of 150 barrel forgings, manufactured by Sheffield Forgemasters in South Yorkshire. The programme will strengthen Ukraine’s battlefield capability, sustain highly skilled UK jobs and re-establish a critical sovereign manufacturing capability.
