Irving Shipbuilding has laid the keel for the future HMCS Fraser at Halifax Shipyard, marking an important construction milestone on Canada's first River-class destroyer. The River-class is derived from our Type 26 platform, the same proven design behind the UK's City-class and Australia's Hunter-class frigates. We're providing support and consultancy throughout the build, sharing expertise and learning gained across these international programmes. Together with our partners, we're helping build the ships that will serve Canada for decades to come.
