A Milestone for HMS Birmingham 🚢 This week marks a significant step forward in the build of HMS Birmingham, the fourth ship in the Type 26 City Class programme. The bow block has successfully completed its three-day journey from Cammell Laird to Govan, thanks to the seamless collaboration between APCL Cammell Laird Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders Limited, BAE Systems Maritime and Osprey Group. The bow will now undergo outfitting before joining the stern and aft blocks in our Janet Harvey Hall. This milestone highlights the progressive partnership across the UK shipbuilding enterprise.
