From trivia tables and drag stages to canal-side parades and handwritten notes, Backroads Pride celebrations took place across the globe this year. Our teams in the US, Canada, the Netherlands and France each found meaningful ways to celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ staff and communities. In Canada, more than 135 attendees helped raise $2,500 for Canmore Pride. In the US, we partnered with Pacific Center for Human Growth, the Bay Area's oldest LGBTQIA+ center, with Jeopardy proceeds supporting their work. This year, we're also celebrating the launch of the Backroads Queer Collective, our LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group, helping create a more connected community for LGBTQIA+ staff and allies through opportunities to share resources and support Pride initiatives. Across countries, offices and communities, our staff showed up with creativity, care and a shared commitment to belonging. Here’s to celebrating LGBTQIA+ joy, supporting local Pride communities and continuing to build spaces where our people can show up fully as themselves.
