Before Albania’s first fully licensed digital bank had processed a single transaction, 50,000 people had already registered on the waiting list in the first two to three weeks alone. In the latest episode of the Banking Reinvented podcast, Fatbardha Rino, Founding CEO of Jet Bank, tells host Tim Rutten that the response was a surprise even to her. But it confirmed something she had believed from the start about how trust works in banking. "Trust comes from experience, not from physical presence. It comes from being fast, being reliable, showing your customer that you have a solid system and that you are there for them." For Fatbardha, if Jet Bank keeps that promise, the customer becomes the best promoter.
