At the PMI Global Summit in Lisbon, Bachem's Johannes Galehr and Miguel Azevedo Cansado, PMP joined 500+ project management professionals from around the world to exchange ideas on where the discipline is heading - and one insight still stands out: The future of project management lies in combining data-driven decision-making with strong cross-functional collaboration and a focus on sustainability. From AI-powered predictive insights to faster, more adaptive portfolio decisions, the discussions reinforced a key principle we live by at Bachem: Our CMC project management consists of 40+ dedicated project managers, overseeing 150+ ongoing customer projects, including 15+ in Phase III - all progressing toward new approved drugs. A data-driven mindset is critical to delivering reliable and efficient outcomes that serve patients worldwide. Beyond the content, it was a great opportunity to connect with peers - and even meet PMI CEO Pierre Le Manh.
