A Difficult but Exciting Next Step for Me Twelve years ago, Victor van Tol asked me to help prepare #SnappCar for its first funding round. What started as a short-term commitment turned into a long-term adventure—kind of like borrowing a car for the weekend and ending up on a cross-country road trip. Together with the leadership team, we worked incredibly hard to set the company on a sustainable path, making tough decisions and pushing forward to ensure a strong future. There were challenges, of course—but also a lot of laughs, late-night brainstorms, and moments of real pride. Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful—not only for the journey we’ve been on but also for the fun we had along the way. I’ve learned so much from the leaders I worked with Erik Rutten, Christoph van der Klaauw, and Victor van Tol and just as much from my young team: Luca Dellenbag, Diederick van Berckel, Joost Janssen, and Marieke Zuiker. Your energy and fresh perspectives have always inspired me. Thank you all for the amazing memories, the teamwork, and the lessons learned. It’s been an honor to be part of this ride. As I step away, my advice is simple: stay focused, challenge each other, and don’t forget to check in on your teammates—especially the ones who look like they’ve had three coffees too many. That’s how strong teams thrive, and I know you’ve got what it takes to keep driving #SnappCar forward. Now, it’s time for me to return to #Brederbv and fully focus on its growth and the development of our team. #Brederbv has grown significantly over the past years—huge thanks to Franck Dellenbag and Willemijn Bosch-Overmeer for steering the ship while I was juggling two hats (and occasionally dropping one). ✨ The road ahead with #Brederbv fills me with energy and excitement. We have bold plans for the coming years—building a strong, values-driven team and creating meaningful impact through our work. I can’t wait to fully dedicate myself to this next chapter and grow something truly special together. Onward! 🚀
