Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE:RFR) completes initial channel cutting at its Parbec gold deposit, with eight channels cut, mineralization visually observed, and samples now submitted for assay. Renforth Resources Inc. (CSE: RFR, OTC: RFHRF, FSE: 9RR) has completed an initial channel cutting campaign, paired with drone-assisted geological mapping, across the open pit footprint at its wholly owned Parbec gold deposit on the Cadillac Break in Malartic, Quebec, contiguous to Agnico Eagle’s Canadian Malartic complex. Eight channels were cut across five areas of the stripped ground, with mineralization visually observed and samples now submitted for assay. Renforth Resources is a B2i Digital Featured Company. See the company’s profile at https://lnkd.in/g7ns7EPV “This program has yielded an exceptional amount of new data, we are seeing more of the lithologies at Parbec associated with gold uncovered on surface in the stripped area than we expected to,” said Nicole Brewster, President and CEO of Renforth. “While we are working on a proven gold deposit, in the footprint of the open pit that goes with the MRE, we are still discovering new things, positive things.” From the news release: • Eight channels were cut across five areas within the stripped ground, with mineralization visually observed; channel sample assay results are pending from the laboratory • Felsite and diorite, the gold-bearing lithologies at Parbec, were uncovered over a greater extent than previously understood during overburden removal • The silicified, intensely fractured felsites host 2% to 6% fine disseminated pyrite and, on surface, reach true widths approaching 15 metres in places, versus roughly one metre in prior drilling • Crosscutting north-south structures that carry through the Cadillac Break, long interpreted from data but rarely, if ever, observed in outcrop, were exposed • The stripped area measures roughly 250 metres by 100 metres within the open pit footprint tied to the deposit’s mineral resource estimate (MRE) Renforth cautions that the features described are qualitative visual observations made in the field and are not necessarily indicative of the presence of gold or of grade; channel sample assay results have not yet been received and will be reported when available.
