🇮🇹Il Comitato Olimpico Internazionale (CIO) ha annunciato la scomparsa dell'ex presidente del CIO, il conte Jacques Rogge, chirurgo ortopedico con una laurea in medicina dello sport. Rogge è stato l'ottavo Presidente del CIO, dal 2001 al 2013, dopodiché è diventato Presidente Onorario. Dopo la sua carriera da atleta è diventato Presidente del Comitato Olimpico Belga ed Europeo, ed è stato eletto Presidente del CIO nel 2001. Dopo la sua Presidenza del CIO, è stato anche Inviato Speciale per i Giovani, i Rifugiati e lo Sport presso le Nazioni Unite. Perdiamo un personaggio straordinario. Rogge was the eighth President of the IOC, from 2001 to 2013, after which he became Honorary President. After his career as an athlete he became President of the Belgian and European Olympic Committee, and was elected President of the IOC in 2001. After his IOC Presidency, he was also Special Envoy for Youth, Refugees and Sport to the United Nations. We lose an extraordinary man. The deepest condolences to the family
