As part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission #ABDM and the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana #PMJAY at the grassroots level, Dr. Dr Pankaj Kumar Arora, Director, NHA, and Dr. Piyush Singla, Director, NHA, visited Government General Hospital, Srikakulam, along with the District Collector of Srikakulam, Shri Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar. During the visit, they reviewed the on-ground implementation of key initiatives under ABDM and AB PM-JAY. The review focused on the progress of digital health services, including ABHA creation, digital health records, and the #ScanandRegister facility. They also assessed the implementation of AB PM-JAY, including #AyushmanCard utilisation, beneficiary access to cashless treatment, and the overall quality of hospital service delivery. The Directors interacted with beneficiaries, doctors, healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and frontline staff to understand their experiences, assess operational progress, discuss implementation challenges, and identify opportunities to further strengthen healthcare delivery.
