🚀 Looking back at one of the full-stack projects I built during Quarter 4 of the Governor Sindh Initiative for AI, Web 3.0 & Metaverse (GIAIC). The challenge was to transform a simple console-based Todo application into a modern multi-user web application using a complete full-stack architecture. An interesting aspect of this project was following a Spec-Driven Development workflow using Claude Code and Spec-Kit Plus. Instead of jumping directly into coding, the development process involved creating specifications, generating implementation plans, breaking requirements into tasks, and then building the application through an AI-assisted development workflow. 🛠️ Tech Stack: • Next.js • FastAPI • SQLModel • Neon PostgreSQL • Better Auth • JWT Authentication • Claude Code • Spec-Kit Plus ✨ Key Features: ✅ User Authentication ✅ CRUD Operations ✅ RESTful APIs ✅ PostgreSQL Integration ✅ User-Specific Data Security ✅ Responsive UI ✅ Persistent Cloud Database 🔐 Security Highlights: • Protected API Endpoints • JWT Token Verification • Bearer Token Authorization • Users Can Access Only Their Own Tasks One of the most valuable lessons from this project was understanding how frontend authentication systems communicate securely with backend services using JWT tokens, while also gaining experience with a structured Spec-Driven Development process. Although this project was completed as part of a hackathon, it provided hands-on experience with full-stack development, authentication workflows, API design, database integration, application security, and AI-assisted software engineering practices. #GIAIC #SpecDrivenDevelopment #ClaudeCode #AIEngineering #NextJS #FastAPI #PostgreSQL #FullStackDevelopment #WebDevelopment
