🎉🪁 24.8 MW for Finland’s Energy Transition: Axpo Group inaugurates the #Lålax Wind Farm    With the official inauguration of the Lålax Wind Farm in #Vörå, Axpo Group, together with its subsidiary Volkswind, has commissioned its first wind farm in #Finland. The project marks an important milestone in the presence of Axpo in the Finnish energy market and highlights the successful collaboration within the Axpo Group.    The wind farm at a glance:    🌬️ First Axpo wind farm in Finland with a total installed capacity of 24.8 MW.    ⚡ Expected annual production of 70 million kilowatt-hours, enough to cover the electricity needs of around 5'400 Finnish households.   🌱 An important step in expanding renewable energy generation in western Finland and supporting the country’s ambitious climate targets.    Completed in just eleven months, the wind farm consists of four wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.2 MW. The electricity generated is fed into the Finnish transmission grid and marketed by Axpo Nordic.   Drawing on Volkswind’s extensive experience in developing and delivering wind energy projects, valuable expertise has been successfully brought to the Finnish market. Together, Axpo and Volkswind have already developed and built more than 100 wind farms across Europe, representing over 1'600 MW of installed capacity.    The inauguration brought together representatives from politics, business, and the municipality of Vörå.
