Earlier this month, Axmed signed a $7 million supply agreement to support Burkina Faso's participation in the Resiliency through Azithromycin for Children (REACH) programme. Over the next three years, up to 16 million doses of quality-assured medicines will be delivered to children under five across the country. What makes this significant is not just the scale, but how it works. The traditional model of fragmented, one-off purchasing drives up costs, creates supply uncertainty, and slows access to medicines that already exist. This agreement operates differently. It runs directly through Burkina Faso's national health and procurement ecosystem, preserving government sovereignty while unlocking global market access, competitive pricing, and quality assurance at scale. Through it, Axmed is enabling: 🔹 Aggregated and predictable demand
🔹 Direct access to a global network of vetted manufacturers
🔹 Transparent pricing and quality assurance
🔹 Integrated logistics from sourcing through to delivery This is what durable country-led execution looks like when paired with modern, technology-enabled procurement infrastructure. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/eWq6j9Ez #AxmedVoices #GlobalHealth #HealthSystems
