In 2025, for the first time, demographics figures among the AXA Future Risks Report experts’ top 10 risks. It reflects growing concern about aging populations, decreasing birth rates, and pressure on social systems. Respondents worry about a “ticking time bomb”. By 2050, the share of people over 60 is expected to nearly double, placing an unprecedented strain on health systems, long-term care, pension models, and labor markets. Only 11% of experts (8% in Europe) think that public authorities are well prepared for demographic risks, the lowest confidence level equaling that of AI & big data risks. At AXA, we provide customer focused solutions, both in health and life insurance, to answer these concerns. 👉 Explore the lastest Future Risks Report on https://lnkd.in/egVs_MAA #FutureRisksReport #Demographics
