We are deeply saddened to learn that Dr. Kathy Kahn, formerly of the Gates Foundation, has died. Kathy was a visionary leader with a strong passion for science-driven development and an avid supporter of building the capacity of the next generation of changemakers. She served on the AWARD Steering Committee from 2015 to 2024 with strong commitment, foresight, and purpose. We shall deeply miss her at AWARD, but her memory and legacy shall continue to inspire our work.
