Are you still manually entering model data from a CAD file into AVL EXCITE™ M? With Release 2026 R1, EXCITE M becomes your CAD reader tool. You can now load the CAD file directly in the simulation environment. It's that simple: Click on any of the CAD components and select it to become an EXCITE M body and it appears in the EXCITE M tree. For example, if you select a gear EXCITE M will take all possible data from the CAD of that gear. No need for an extra tool, no mistakes that come from manually entering values. You can also visually compare the CAD and the EXCITE M model and make sure that they are identical.
