Efficiency in SOEC systems is decided long before the first prototype is built. Flow distribution, temperature fields, and reaction zones are set by layout decisions that are hard to fix later. Small design choices at the module level can determine whether a system runs stable or degrades early. CFD makes these effects visible early, so you can design for uniform conditions instead of reacting to problems in testing. If you are working on electrolyzers, hydrogen, or e-fuels, this is where performance is won or lost. This is exactly where current engineering approaches are evolving. Sign up for the AVL SIMpulse online event to explore topics like solid oxide electrolyzers and the engineering of future energy systems. https://lnkd.in/duARAgaP
