Daily Economic Briefing for 10 April: Let's Make A Deal Governments in Australia and New Zealand announced cooperation deals to promote economic security, trade, and coordination on 10 April. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese flew to Singapore early in the day to meet with his counterpart on the island, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The two leaders agreed to work to keep refined #oils - including #petrol and #diesel - and natural gas flowing between #Australia and #Singapore. New Zealand's cooperation deal was, admittedly, a bit less international. Auckland Council and the New Zealand Government signed a multi-decade agreement covering a range of policy areas, including local government financing, #planning, economic #development, #transport, and #tourism.
