Matthieu Louvot Appointed CEO of Airbus Helicopters as of April 2026 ⭕ Airbus Helicopters has announced the appointment of Matthieu Louvot as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 April 2026.Louvot will report to Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury and join the Company’s Executive Committee. Currently serving as Executive Vice President Strategy at Airbus, Matthieu Louvot will succeed Bruno Even, who has decided to leave the company after eight years at the helm to pursue new personal and professional endeavors. Commenting on the transition, Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury paid tribute to Bruno Even’s leadership, highlighting the significant expansion of the product portfolio, the transformation of the industrial system, and the establishment of a sustainable and profitable growth trajectory under his tenure. Faury expressed confidence that Louvot’s deep experience in the helicopter sector and strong understanding of Airbus Helicopters’ operational and strategic priorities will ensure a smooth and successful transition. A graduate of École Polytechnique and École Nationale d’Administration, Matthieu Louvot began his career in the French public administration, including serving as advisor for industry at the French Presidency. He joined Airbus Helicopters in 2010 and has since held several senior leadership roles, notably Executive Vice President Customer Support & Services and Executive Vice President Programmes.
