Texas GLO and Active Digital Twins The Texas General Land Office (GLO) manages our most valuable resources- land, oil, and minerals- which generate billions of dollars for Texas annually. The GLO is also charged with managing the state's geospatial data that helps maintain and secure our state assets. The GLO can establish easements for the deployment of Intelligent Infrastructure Economic Zones, fiber optic lines, electric lines, and Avigation Easements on state-owned lands under its management. The GLO can work with the private sector to establish Active Digital Twins, which will be used by every Texas citizen and will establish the Data Economy. Data is our new Texas resource, powering AI in the physical world, and it must be managed.
