Since the beginning of the year, "Automagistral-Pivden" has restored over 1 million m² of road surface across 8 regions of Ukraine. The war against the Russian aggressor has been ongoing in Ukraine since 2022. Since then, all state budget funds have been directed toward defense needs. Road repair and new construction projects have been suspended. The lack of timely maintenance has led to widespread deterioration of the upper pavement layer on many sections of the most critical highways. The situation on the roads became particularly acute following the 2025/2026 winter season, which was marked by prolonged periods of freezing temperatures. This spring, the country's government was forced to launch an emergency repair program to ensure traffic safety. Repairs (pothole patching and sectional repairs) are being carried out under existing maintenance contracts. As a rule, only the upper layer of the pavement is replaced. "Automagistral-Pivden" has entered into contracts to maintain 13,500 km of Ukrainian highways. Since the beginning of the year, the company has completed nearly one-third of the total volume of road restoration work. The highest volume of emergency repairs since the start of the year was conducted in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. Over one hundred thousand m² were repaired in the Sumy and Volyn regions, while tens of thousands of m² were restored in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Lviv regions. A total of 53 crews (761 employees) were involved in executing the work.
