Between Budapest and Bucharest: nearly 50% of works completed! On a 6.5 km section of newly constructed highway between Oradea and Cluj-Napoca in Romania, the company has completed almost half of the contract scope. The height of the constructed embankments reaches up to 6 meters in some areas. On a 1.2 km stretch, the final ballast base layer for the earthworks package has been completed. We plan to fully complete our scope of works within three months. As a reminder, in autumn 2025, Automagistral-Pivden joined the construction of a new 28.55 km expressway on the route between Budapest and Bucharest. The contract value exceeds EUR 150 million. The project is being implemented by Automagistral-Pivden’s Romanian partners, while our company is responsible for executing the earthworks package on a 6.5 km section. 🚩The total volume of earthworks under the project amounts to 580,000 cubic meters.
