Recently, we brought together partners, leadership, engineering, and innovation across Autoliv to explore what comes next for safety. From systems thinking and next generation restraint development to the evolving role of data, software, and integration, one theme stood out clearly: The future of safety is adaptive, connected, and built around real-world situations. As vehicles become more software-defined, safety must evolve beyond static protection. It must understand context, respond in real time, and continuously adapt to protect every occupant. Throughout the week, we explored how Occupant Situational Safety is shaping this next frontier: • Advancing adaptive airbags and seatbelt systems • Integrating sensing, software, and restraint technologies • Strengthening how systems work together across the full crash landscape • Using data, simulation, and Human Body Models to improve real-world protection At the core is a simple idea: applying the right protection, at the right time, for each situation. 👉 Explore the full perspective in our latest article: https://lnkd.in/ewKakKy7
