Honest, experienced advice is hard to come by when you're early on your startup journey. Last week, 25 experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from the circle of Stifter of the Stiftung Unternehmerische Zukunft each supported 4 ELP fellows during speed-mentoring rounds. Each round is only 25-minutes long, so that means the conversations need to be focused on the challenges that matter most right now. Behind the scenes, this session is one of the most effort-heavy we run. Every match is made by hand — based on what each fellow is building, where they're stuck, and what they want to achieve by Demo Day. And then the magic happens. Fellows walk out saying things like "How did you know this mentor does exactly what I'm working on?" This is what the partnership between Austrian Startups and the Entrepreneurial Future Foundation makes possible: connecting the next generation of founders with people who've already navigated the hard parts and are genuinely willing to share what they've learned.
