Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Modi visited the Melbourne Cricket Ground today. The leaders announced that the first Australian Big Bash League match will take place in Chennai, in December this year. The match will serve as the centrepiece of a wider ‘G’Day Namaste’ week-long program of events, promoting Australia’s cultural and business credentials in India. Leaders also committed to advance sports cooperation to increase trade, tourism and investment.
