A special Bravery Decoration honours list has been announced on the second anniversary of the tragedy that occurred at Bondi Junction in 2024 by the Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC. The list honours 8 remarkable individuals who put themselves in danger during the tragedy and sadly includes two posthumous awards. The remarkable individuals named in today’s Bravery Decorations join more than 1 million Australians who have been recognised by the Australian Honours and Awards system.
