We are delighted to congratulate Robert Hecek,LFAPI AM, on his appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List. Robert was honoured for significant service to property valuation, particularly as an educator and mentor.   An API member since 1983, Robert became a Fellow in 2000 and a Life Fellow in 2016. Over more than four decades, he has made an outstanding contribution to the profession through his leadership, mentorship and commitment to professional excellence, and currently serves as Chair of the APIV Limited Liability Scheme.   This appointment is a fitting recognition of Robert’s outstanding service, leadership and enduring contribution to the valuation profession.   Congratulations, Robert, on this well-deserved honour.
