NCC 2025 Published – Commences 1 May (Subject to State Adoption) The 2025 edition of the National Construction Code (NCC 2025) was published on 1 February and is scheduled to commence from Friday 1 May, subject to state and territory adoption and transition arrangements. As with previous editions, NCC 2025 will only apply once formally adopted by individual jurisdictions, with differing commencement dates and transition periods applicable across Australia. AGWA has released a new Fact Sheet outlining: • The key NCC 2025 changes relevant to the glass and window industry, and • A summary table of currently announced state and territory adoption positions, based on information available at the time of publication. Members are encouraged to review the AGWA Fact Sheet and confirm local regulatory requirements before applying NCC 2025 provisions to specific projects.
