Nick Johnson, Jessica Scanlan and Manish Sharma are currently in the middle of a national road trip which has them visiting Afford services throughout the country, spending time with teams and the people we support. One of the most powerful learnings from the early visits has been just how important connection, openness and authenticity are in leadership. That’s something Nick has long felt very strongly about and he’s delighted to see it happening in live time. “The trip has really reinforced my belief that every voice in Afford feels heard, valued and comfortable being themselves, regardless of title or role,” said Nick. It’s a simple message, but an important one: the best conversations happen when people feel they can just be themselves.
