NAIDOC Week is a time to celebrate the strength, knowledge and resilience of the world's oldest living culture. But celebration must also create space for truth-telling. As Uncle Boe Rambaldini shares, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples continue to experience exclusion, marginalisation and inequity in ways that are felt every day. These are not always comfortable conversations, but they are necessary ones. "It's not about pride, blame and guilt. It's about us coming together and we can begin to address the present... and build a better future for us all so that we feel part of it. Because my people, and at times I don't. I don't feel there's inclusion of me in this society, in this place, and I feel it every day and it's practised to me every day." - Uncle Boe. This NAIDOC Week, we celebrate the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures while listening, learning, and recommitting to a more equitable future for all. #NAIDOCWeek #NAIDOC2026 #FiftyYearsDeadly
