This is the first of five videos I had the opportunity to direct for a project hopefully launching in April :). The goal was to capture stories of people in Utah doing good things in their community. These stories will ultimately live alongside others from across the U.S. When I showed up to the first shoot, I arrived with a car full of equipment but quickly decided to capture each story with a very minimal setup, aiming to lean into a more authentic style of storytelling. This film tells the story of Ben Lyne, a runner who turned a simple act of encouragement, holding a sign that reads “I BELIEVE IN YOU” during his morning jog, into a movement that inspires strangers, mends relationships, and spreads hope across his community. Producers: Rebecca Blumhagen and Jessie Epstein
