🚛 Transformative milestone unlocked at Glenrowan.   Last month, we reached a major milestone on the Winton North Solar Farm connection project, with a brand new power transformer landing at Glenrowan Terminal Station!   The complex delivery and positioning of this hefty 130 MVA, 220 kV/33 kV transformer (weighing 129 tonnes!) was a significant logistical and engineering achievement.   Impeccable planning, route assessments, transport permitting, site preparation and precise lifting operations were all needed to pull off this feat safely. It was made possible through outstanding collaboration between our project team, delivery partners and contractors.   The new transformer is key to enabling the connection of the 100 MW Solar Farm to the transmission network, supporting the continued growth of renewable energy generation in Victoria. Keeping such a critical component of the project on schedule reflects the strength of our teams’ planning processes and the commitment of everyone involved.   A big thank you to all who helped make this happen.
