Hosting future leaders at RAAF Base Amberley! On April 16, during Youth Week QLD, we were honoured to host the Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) Youth Leadership Team (YLT) for an action-packed day at RAAF Base Amberley. With leadership at the forefront, the day was about building resilience and inspiring young people to realise their full potential. Throughout the day, these emerging leaders were challenged to think critically about their own career pathways and the impact they can have within their communities. Highlights: š A deep dive into aviation history at the Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre ā connecting the legacy of those who served before us to the opportunities of the future. āļø Getting up close with the C-17A Globemaster III at 36 Squadron ā showcasing the technical excellence and teamwork required to operate on a global scale. šŖ A high-energy leadership activity with the 23 Squadron Physical Training Instructors ā emphasising that mental toughness is just as vital as physical readiness. We are proud to partner with PCYC Queensland and the QLD Police Force to invest in our youth. By sharing our experiences, we hope to empower the YLT to reach for excellence in everything they do ā whether in a uniform or in the community. šø | LAC Campbell Latch #AusAirForce #YourADF #StrongerTogether
