UAE Pillar Two Registration is Now Open The UAE Federal Tax Authority has activated the Pillar Two registration functionality on the Emara Tax portal, marking an important milestone in the implementation of the OECD's Global Minimum Tax framework. In-scope multinational enterprise (MNE) groups should evaluate their registration requirements and begin preparing the necessary documentation to facilitate timely compliance. Key highlights: - Registration is now open through the Emara Tax portal. - Applies to MNE groups with consolidated revenue exceeding EUR 750 million in at least two of the preceding four fiscal years. - Taxpayers may register individually or designate a Domestic Designated Filing Entity (DDFE) to undertake compliance on behalf of UAE constituent entities.
