Auros at the Cornell Blockchain Conference - The Programmable Economy AI & Blockchain Redefining Markets A few days ago, our Head of Investments & Growth, David H., joined a panel on the state of venture capital in 2026. Here's what came out of the conversation: Capital is consolidating - and focusing. VCs are still active and deploying, but the market has shifted meaningfully toward opportunities at the intersection of TradFi and Web3 - particularly payments and tokenisation. The noise has cleared; durable infrastructure is getting attention. Your cap table is a strategic asset. In a more selective environment, who backs you matters as much as how much they invest. Investor networks and genuine strategic value-add can directly influence a startup's ability to close commercial deals - not just raise the next round. These are themes we think about closely at Auros as we work with projects across the liquidity lifecycle. Great to share the stage with Will Nuelle (GP, Galaxy Digital), Evan F. (Partner & Director of Research, CoinFund), and thanks to Gil Rosen (President, Stanford Blockchain Accelerator) for moderating.
