We have a winner for the Fintech Track by inDrive.Money. Meet Mercedes Bidart, founder of Quipu. The Aurora Tech Award's Fintech Track, launched in collaboration with Alina Zavorokhina and inDrive Money team, attracted 300 vertical-specific applicants out of 3,400 total startups to identify high-potential strategic partners. From this pool, Quipu was selected for its technology that analyzes SMS data to provide instant credit decisions for unbanked gig workers and small businesses. The partnership is now planning a pilot in Mexico, where Quipu's scoring infrastructure will be tested with inDrive users to evaluate those with little to no credit history.
