One and a half years after starting self employment, I write my first business plan. It’s something I continue to do: My way of working is intuitive. I wanted to design a youth empowerment program to apply my knowledge from one year of educational leave, so that others wouldn’t need to take a year to access this knowedge. The Social Impact Award Discovery Journey was the result. And with it, my self employment. I studied business management, worked in international networks advising social enterprises and start ups - but starting out on my own wasn't a long-planned strategic move. It was an opportunity, and I took it. One and a half years later I start my first business plan. Now where I have first experiences gathered, understand my interest better and know what I can, and cannot, deliver. And I believe: it’s the perfect time. In todays session with Christoph Monsberger we mapped the target groups I've been working with and tried to understand the theory behind what I've been practicing. New connections emerged. What I do becomes clearer. That’s the potential of a well designed process: it makes the intuitive strategic. It turns experience into foundation. And points out the logical next steps. During the last week my understanding of self changed: from being self-employed to being an entrepreneur. This shift opens my mind for bigger projects - opens my eyes for new opportunities - and definitely keeps my hands busy building. It is so worth pausing and noticing who you are becoming. We constantly learn, grow and connect - and after some time, we become someone different. The coaching funded by Wirtschaftsagentur Wien is a long needed update, I’m so grateful for it! _____ Are you more team planning steps ahead, or being flexible to navigate what's coming? Let's discuss in the comments :)
