As part of the Smart Supply Chain and Logistics course taught by Dr. Kurnia Hardi, S.E., MBA, I had the opportunity to learn the fundamental business processes of SAP S/4HANA through a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach. This experience provided valuable insights into how business processes are integrated through three core ERP modules: Sales & Distribution (SD), Material Management (MM), and Financial Accounting (FI). To apply these concepts, my team and I developed a digital transformation project for Scoovely Ice Cream Factory, a manufacturing company in the food and beverage industry. Through business process analysis, we identified several challenges, including manual procurement planning, the risk of raw material stockouts during high production demand, and the lack of integration between procurement, inventory, sales, and financial reporting. To address these issues, we designed an ERP solution inspired by SAP S/4HANA by integrating Demand Forecast, Inventory Check, Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and Supplier Management into a single workflow. We also developed a web-based prototype, Scoovely ERP ā Ordering Preparation & Planning, to support procurement planning using real-time inventory and demand forecasting. The system helps automate purchasing recommendations, generate Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, improve procurement efficiency, and enhance supply chain visibility. š As evidence of this learning experience, I have attached my project portfolio, including the business process analysis, ERP workflow, and web-based prototype. https://lnkd.in/gqwG24DC https://lnkd.in/g5ZXvCnN #SAP #SAPS4HANA #ERP #SupplyChainManagement #SCM #MaterialManagement #SalesDistribution #FinancialAccounting #DigitalTransformation #ProjectBasedLearning #BusinessProcess #InventoryManagement #ProcurementPlanning
