At the STADT:up final event in Aldenhoven, we showcased how human-centered innovation is shaping automated driving. Our empathic in-cabin assistant senses the driver's state in real time – from facial expressions to gaze and heart rate – to deliver the right support at the right moment. AI models estimate trust and comfort, while an avatar combines emotional resonance with situation-aware guidance. The result: a “driving buddy” that informs, reassures, and helps reduce unnecessary takeovers. But true autonomy also requires reliability at the edge. Our Level 4 test vehicle demonstrates how a robust energy architecture ensures stable, speed-independent power – enabling predictable uptime and faster validation.
