šŖšŗ European venture capital firm Pitchdrive has successfully closed its fourth fund at ā¬60m to support the next generation of AI-native startups. The fund surpassed its initial ā¬50m target following strong demand from private investors and entrepreneurs without any institutional or government capital. Chair Jonas Dhaenens and founders Boris Bogaert, Wim Derkinderen, and Koen Christiaens will deploy the capital into c.30 early-stage companies. The "Co-founder Capital" strategy provides founders with direct access to operators from firms including Deliverect, Showpad, and Silverfin. š Focuses on AI-native software, robotics, mobility, and hardware companies that require significant computing infrastructure. š Maintains a portfolio of 70 startups including Henchman, which was recently acquired by LexisNexis. š Provides strategic guidance through a network of 20 executives from technology companies like Teamleader and Foodbag. š Recently backed serial entrepreneur Kumesh Aroomoogan in a $10m pre-seed round for the New York-based compliance firm Zerodrift. š Directs investment towards software-driven physical industries and AI-enabled business categories across international markets. It is brilliant to see such dedicated support for founders building the future of artificial intelligence.
